it can teach kids numbers and other stuff. i was playing with my kid and he liked it.

Not impressed. You pay for the app that only has numbers 1 to 9 to trace, no letters as shown on the purchase page.

This is one of our favorites! Number skills are so important, and learning them early gives kids a great head start. I love that the tracing not only teaches, but builds fine motor skills! We use this app all the time!

We have just started working with our 3 year old on learning how to write so this app came just in time. He loved seeing all the numbers and then slowly tracing his finger along so that all the fireflies could get into the jar. His favourite part was when all the fireflies were released from the jar once he had traced all the numbers. This app is based on the proven Montessori approach which lets the kids learn at their own pace and ensures the knowledge and skills will stick. I like that you are able to create multiple kids’ profiles in the app when children share the same device so they all progress on their own and can always pick up where they left off.

This app is great for learning my son loves it and hes 2.5. :) Recommended.

The app covers the numbers 1-10 in a basic manner, your child gets to trace the numbers. Time value: I would say most children will burn through this apps attention value in an hour or two. Visual: The visuals for the numbers and tracing are fine however I would describe the general interface as slightly cluttered. It has a pay to get rid of the advertising feel to it.

This app is amazing! Not only do the kids learn how to write the numbers, they also learn the order of them. Another great feature is that the children get rewarded when they trace the number correctly! This is definitely apart of my educational game list! I highly suggest this app to any parent or teacher alike!

I love this app for my 2 and 4 year olds. My 2 year old is being introduced to numbers 1-10 easily! Its amazing how much technology can aid in early childhood learning. My 4 year old LOVES tracing and it really transfers to paper skills well. This would be a great tool for occupational therapists to use as well!

Not only do kids get to trace letters to learn them, but they also get to collect fireflies along the path and then they are deposited into their jar. The jar then fills up as they progress through the alphabet, a perfect way to keep kids motivated to not give up and keep trying if they have trouble with a letter. It also has the option of creating multiple profiles if you have more than one child using the app, and you can even track their progress along the way to see just how well they are doing. I like this option because you can let them play independently, then check how they did later.

The new updated version is of course a bit better from the previous app. Its educational, engaging and very animated. Even adults will have fun trying this app. I would high recommend this excellent app to all parents out there.

I love this app. This is perfect for my four year old. Hes mastered the visual identification of numbers and letters and has movied on to writing. Hes an active child so its hard to get him to sit still for long. The fact that he gets to play a "game" makes this a fantastic app. Hes learning while having fun collecting fire flies and trying to fill up the jar. Its encouraging and low pressure (hes having fun and learning). We enjoyed working on this together.

This app keeps kids busy and helps them learn useful skills. 123 Tracing is a quality app by Kids Academy. It teaches basic math through fun play. This app teaches your child to trace numbers. When the numbers are correctly traced, their jar will fill with fireflies. You can personalize the app for each of your children. It’s great to get a head start in Math!

We really love Kids Academy Apps, they are wonderful learning tools for my toddler. She loves trying to catch all the fireflies. I have to hold her finger to show her how to trace, but she is getting it. Every day I see an improvement. I love watching her wheels turn when she is playing these apps. You can see her learning! This is a must-have for your child. The fun games, music, colors and characters are so captivating.

This is one of my favorite apps to play with my little guy. He loves the different looks of the numbers he has to trace and get so excited when he gets them right. Even when he doesnt get them, hes encouraged and keeps trying until he gets it right. This app is perfect for learning with your little ones.

I love that this app is not only entertaining but also fun! Children are encouraged to trace letters as part of a fun game, for instance getting a firefly in your jar once you trace the number. The tracing not only teaches children what the numbers look like and the order but also works on their small motor skills as well.

I will keep buying them for my children! What I like most about this app is that, it is teaching kids and motivating them to learn and write their numbers 1-10. The best is the voice of the woman that makes it even better and more cool. She will tell your child that they are doing a great job, and one more time. This app is great for my son. We try and do this app at least three times a week. And its helping him with the things he learns in school.

I love this app. This app allows my kids to learn their numbers. Its not even just learning numbers, but it is also about recognizing them and writing them correctly. They dont teach this in school anymore, so knowing they can write correctly is a huge deal for me.

I love that there is an update to this app. It is a favorite of my son. He loves to practice his numbers while we wait for his big sister to get out of school. At 4 he knows how to write the numbers 1-9 because of this app. Bravo Kids Academy on a terriffic, engaging app.

I love the ease of use of this app. It will keep my son busy for hours having fun while learning. Having the ability to trace the numbers is a delight for him and such a wonderful learning experience.

The next Itune App I will be discussing is 123 Tracing Numbers: Montessori math game for kids.This is a action packed can’t keep your fingers or mind off it game, I have a 8 month old who was playing it, and then my 7 year old got into it, as she is dyslexic, This app is all about numbers and how to trace them , when a number comes up you trace it with your finger and if it don’t come out right you can keep trying , after you successfully trace a number it praises you which I like cause it give the children encouragement. Not only does it teaches numbers it also teaches symbols like plus and minus. It also seems to me it teaches greater than and less then kindergarten perspective. Also, if your child is having troubles it gives them encouraging hints, doesn’t give them the direct answer but a appropriate hint to help them find the answer. It also helps them with quantity and quality. The down fall I see is with this app is it expects a little too much for a preschool kindergarten age child. But, here is the pros to the game, more then one child can have their own profile, lets say you have 2 children, they each can have their own profile so they can’t mess where the other person is at, meaning one person, may be at a higher level then the other. It also saves where they are at it, if they have to leave where they are at, they can pick up later where they left off.Fun surprises and verbal encouragement that keep kids coming back for more, also it has frequent repetition designed to help children learn numbers and their sequence, so it can keep jogging their memory so if they see the same thing over and over again, it helps build their memory.
